Robot vacuum and long hair

I'm thinking about buying a robot vacuum cleaner but concerned that it will get all tangled up with my long hair (I have a lot of hair and shed it everywhere- I can collect enough to make a wig every time I Hoover).

Are there specific models that would be better than others for this? Would I need to clean its brushes after every use? Will it get clogged up and die on me?

Grateful for any insight! Smile

I have a Eufy and the brush part is completely removable - and then you can easily cut the hair off

I shed tons and I do it once a month or so

My eufy copes fine with my long hair and that of my two long-haired ragdolls

Ah brilliant thank you. What model eufy do you have?

Same except ours needs dehairing every week. Still totally worth it, I shed enough to disgruntle any hoover.

My Roomba gets it all in the rollers - it’s a faff to remove the rubber casing and cut it all off but I have done it…

My Eufy came with a nifty snipping tool that slices the hair off the roller easily.

That sounds like just the thing @Summerhillsquare
Which model eufy is that?

Robovac 11S

My neato works well with long hair and dog hair etc. Wouldn't be with out him.

I was going to recommend the roomba. You just pop out the rubber rollers and the hair is neatly cooled on the ends and slides off. I’ve never had to cut it off. I just do that when I empty the bin every day.

DS2 has the most glorious auburn long hair. Thick and wavy. It's not at all relevant how his hair look but I love it Grin

I suspect poor thing is going the same way was his dad and will be seriously receeding by his mid 20s. He sheds a lot of hair. It's much easier to clean out of Eufy's brushes than it is out of the upright Dyson.

It's not over dramatic to say Eufy joining the family was life changing.

Brilliant, thank you!

I have an Ecovac Deebot and I just snip the hair off the removable brush from time to time (it's mostly my hair but there is a long haired cat in the house too).
