Tumble dryer unbalanced load

My tumble dryer owes me nothing (had it 14 years) but as I'll be replacing it soon, I wanted to ask

• has anyone replaced theirs recently and would you recommend the one you got?

• one thing that really irritates me about my old one is that it gives the "unbalanced load" error so often, and despite me fiddling with the load to make sure it's not all stuck together, I now don't really use it for bath towels at all. Has anyone had/solved the same problem?

What sort would you like, vented, condenser or heat pump, mine isn't new but it is a very basic vented one and you can still get similar with a time dial and hot and warm buttons, I prefer its simplicity because it is quite quick to dry and less to go wrong.

I had a condenser before, it was an AEG Lavamat. It was also really simple with just a dial to turn. I prefer them too. I just got a new washing machine and it has an electronic interface and it's a faff, especially if it goes wrong.
