Has anyone bought this laundry basket and if so what’s it like ?
I’m really tempted to buy it but it come flat packed and I can’t find any shops that stock the actual product so I can view it in person

Thanks

Lakeland give a few pics of it, so I feel like I have a good idea of it now. Are you near a Lakeland store to look? I don't have one, but it seems it is truly the Queen of laundry baskets Grin

I used to have a laundry hamper which fitted two wilkos swing bins without lids on them. So I separated as I took things off and then lifted them out. It was a great system and their rigid sides meant I could use them as wash baskets to transfer the wet clothes to dryer too.

Stbx changed the system and now its just chaos, once I have my own place I'm definitely reimplementing it!

I have a (much) cheaper two bag unit in my bathroom - darks and lights. The dark stuff is washed together. A bag is a load. Lights bag not so easy - I wash all whites separately from white with coloured trims or printing such as tea towels or white T shirts with prints.

It works well though - I ask for dark washing and the bag is filled from bedrooms and it gets washed together. I ask for 'white whites' or ' semi whites' and the whole lot gets brought down because only I (it seems) am able to sort this.

So, for me, a replacement would have to contain a whole load - the JJ one looks a bit small for that? We the same unit downstairs and the bags hold 'our' clean clothes and 'theirs'.

I like laundry baskets that you can use to take the clean, dry, folded laundry back upstairs in, so it wouldn't work for me. It also looks like you'd need a different recepticle to take the wet washing to the line/tumble dryer and bring the dry washing back in, so not that practical?

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I’m not near a Lakeland I’ve had a look at the photos. I really like the style but I’m worried about the quality.
Will have a look for something cheaper
