Should I Get a Cleaner

I live alone in a one bedroom flat. I have looked into getting a cleaner from a cleaning company to come in and thoroughly clean my bathroom. It's not disgusting but I hate cleaning and I'm not very good at it.

The problem is that there is mould in my flat. I have to clean it off the walls with a vinegar mould spray. The cleaning company have said they can't have cleaners cleaning the mould.

I think there is damp in the flat as I have tried to keep it as well ventilated as possible.

Would it be fair to try to get a private cleaner to do it? What are the risks with the mould?

Surely your landlord has to deal with the mould issue?

It's not a huge problem. Bits of mould here and there. The landlord has advised me to keep the property better ventilated.

I would try and get rid of the mould as much as possible first and then get a cleaner if finances allow, especially if you hate cleaning. Saying this, you could manage it yourself in 30 mins cleaning per day and put the money to something else. When i had cleaners, it was a great use of my money at the time and really helped but have stopped them for last 6 months now i am in a routine.

Maybe try Mould Magic. I used it on a very mouldy washing machine seal that notjing else would shift and it worked brilliantly. Is the mould mainly in the bathroom? Yes, ventilate after every shower/bath for at least 20 minutes by either opening window and/or extractor fan. Dry off wet surfaces if possible. If in other areas, a dehumidifer could be good too and open windows every day, even in winter if just for 10 mins.

Thanks for the advice. Could I use Mould Magic on the walls. It is mainly in the bathroom but there is some mould on walls in the hall and bedroom and kitchen. I try and clean it with a vinegar spray but it comes back.

Just had a quick look and doesn't seem to be recommended for walls, doesn't mention them anyway...
This might be better:

Or someone might come along with a better suggestion!
Hope i didn't come across as patronising at all with my advice Grin best wishes, op.

@Biensur21 - not patronising at all. Thanks, I appreciate your advice.
