Good, Cheap Mattress Topper

We have just bought a sofa bed which will get occasional use, and I fear (and the reviews say) that it might be a bit firm.

Can anyone recommend a mattress topper which would make a supportive/firm, but hard bed a bit more comfortable that won't break the bank?

Yes! I can as in exactly same position. Dunelm hotel touch synthetic ‘down’ feel mattress topper £45 for a single. Sorry can’t do link but you will find it easily. I didn’t want memory foam (too hot) and have stopped buying genuine down because of worries about animal welfare. So far so good with the topper but only had it a couple of months, so not sure how it will work long term .

i use a duvet under the sheet on my bed works just as well as a pricier topper mine was £20 from Dunhelms and has the advantage of been able to go in the washer on a regular basis
