Which food processor?

Trying to decide between Magimix and KitchenAid. Any recommendations for either? Thanks!

I've had my Magimix over twenty years now and still looks good/working well. Before, I had a second hand Magimix which was smaller. The 'bowl' had been spoilt by dishwashing, so my current one has always been hand washed. If I was replacing it and there was one not made of that plastic that 'crazes' in a dishwasher, I'd be swayed by that. Long time since i looked, so maybe that's not a thing any more?

I’ve never had a KitchenAid, but recently bought a Magimix and absolutely love it- I’m wondering how I got along without one for so long! I don’t really bake so I don’t use the dough attachments, but I use it a lot for chopping, slicing and grating and it saves so much time.

I think I’ll get another Magimix. I’ve had one for 18 years, but the bowl has broken and they don’t sell replacements any more: changed both the design and the type of plastic they use. I do like my KitchenAid mixer though, and wondered if anyone had used their food processor.
