Cleaning under high chair on tiled floor

We’re about to move and I need some advice about keeping a tiled floor vaguely clean under my DD’s high chair. At the moment our rented place is carpeted, so her high chair is on a mat that I pick stuff up from/wipe/throw in the washing machine. I was thinking a long handled dustpan and brush, but then liquid debris could get dried on to the bristles? A dustpan and mop - do such things exist? Cleaning up after meals is one of my least favourite things so anything to make it easier! Of course we are working on less debris making it to the floor, but in the meantime any help would be much appreciated!

Keep the mat

Ds is 13 months, I literally just wipe the floor with a cloth once he's finished, shake the bits into the bin and rinse, then throw the cloth into the wash.

Yeah, just keep the mat.

I'd just use a cloth. I'm on dc3 though and use the dustpan and brush regardless of fluids - I'm past that

Keep the mat or get a dog.
