Help! Thunderbug infestation

I cant open my windows or doors without these little buggers getting in and being on walls surfaces and ME!! I have fields at back of my house so obviously where they are coming from, I have NO plants in back garden so that not attracting them to my house but my back door and kitchen window is crawling in them i hose them away but 5 mins later there are just as many as before. I have read that they can get thro most door screens so buying one of them would be pointless.

Can anyone help how do i get them to stop covering my outside doors and windows???

We have them in our village every year, OP, from the surrounding fields.
They’re a harmless nuisance and usually disappear after two weeks.
They are a bit annoying as they get everywhere, even inside picture frames. I had one walking about inside my laptop screen- no idea how it got in there!
Try to ignore them and just hoover them up when they die. Using toxic insecticide is far more damaging than just tolerating the little buggers for a short time.

You have no plants in your garden?! What?
