How to get grease out of clothes?

I know rubbing washing up liquid works, but dps work clothes are absolutely covered in it (has been cleaning grease traps) so wondering if there is anything I can add to the washer rather than having to cover several trousers/shirts in fairy!
Thanks

Elbow grease is good if you have any? You’d have to spray and leave it for a bit, rather than adding to the washer. Not sure of anything you could add in to the machine, sorry.

Soda crystals maybe as they are good for degreasing things

You basically want an emulsifying agent. I'd probably soak in alcohol before putting in the wash. (It's what I do with my work wear)
