Birds poohing on washing And patio

Twice this week I have had bird pooh ob my clean dry washing and now tempted to give up drying outside
Also regular birds crap in garden furniture and on patio
Birds don't sit in ny garden or on fence etc
Just seems to be flight path for seagulls so not sure if putting scaring devices would make any difference
I had to rewash the clothes on hot wash
And keep hosing down patio as unsure what else I can use on patio to clean it off as apparently birds poo can be dangerous ??
I just shoved clothes in wash as they were on a 60 degree , will that be enough to kill germs and will as some sites suggest I have tp clean machine out after ?

Annoying about the clothes, but unless you're planning to lick the patio I wouldn't bother with that.

Outside gets messy 🤷‍♀️

Laundry is irritating but you only need to wash the bits actually with poo on. Patio is fine. Bird poo won't be an issue unless you eat it.

I agree they are a pain. I need to pressure wash my patio every time we invite people over. but I also agree that unless you have a crawling child or lick your patio you needn't worry too much about health implications.

Friends of ours who have a beautiful roof top terrace in a big city were plagued with pigeons. They now fly a kite style replica of a hawk over the terrace and the shadow supposedly scares the pigeons away. They also have pigeon spikes on every level surface and a sonic pigeon scarer. Combined they seem to do the trick but it's a lot of effort.
