How to clean LVT flooring?

Possibly a stupid question - getting LVT flooring fitted in the next 2 days to replace big standard linoleum.

I vaguely remember reading on here once that a steam mop is really good for LVT? Or did I make that up?

Just wondering how you all clean yours...

I've got a feeling that steam is actually very bad for LVT floors as they will lift.....

Interested to know the answer to this as I'm planning an LVT floor in my hall through to the kitchen/diner.

No don't use a steam mop on LVT, over time the heat could cause lifting of the tiles.

Hoover and then mopping are the way to go. Or do what I've done any but a robot hoover and mop combined so all you need to do is click on your app to tell it which rooms you want done...

We had lvt put down earlier this year. Fitter said to avoid steam mop, some flash or equivalent in a bucket of water and a mop is all it needs . It always comes up lovely and is way to clean. I Hoover it first to get rid of the crumbs and other bits.
