I have a eufy as do loads of people on MN. The price is excellent and they are just brilliant. I've had mine for over 2 years and I will never be without one.

TinkerPony · 19/07/2021 14:55

Thank you for your feedback which model best as many on Amazon so confusing

Hello can I jump in and ask how well do the eufy hoovers cope with picking up human hair - I've got long hair and seem to always sweep up loads from the floor , will this tangle and kill a robot hoover ?

springiscoming12 · 19/07/2021 14:58

Interested in getting recommendations for these too OP

Comebloodyon · 19/07/2021 15:26

My eufy picks up human hair. I just snip it and clear it from the brush whenever I empty it which is frequently.

I love mine for keeping on top of stuff daily but it's no replacement for a proper vacuum especially on carpet and rugs

Eufy 15C. Best purchase ever!

FizziWater · 19/07/2021 16:06

I bought a Bagotte on the back of a MN thread in January. Brilliant. My house has never been so clean, though tbf I was never a hobby hooverer.
It maps the room so you see where it's been.
They don't like wires or low furniture- can get stuck attempting to get under a low sofa. Pretty good at avoiding stairs.
Unless you live in a small uncluttered flat I would recommend shutting it in a room at a time.

TeaAndStrumpets · 19/07/2021 16:28

To anyone with a Roomba I can heartily recommend the little brush cleaner kit. You just pop the roller off and run the red tube along it, it just gathers up the hair like magic. This is the full maintenance kit but the little red cleaning gadgets can be had on ebay for a few quid.

I got a Eufy 15 max after a thread on here. I love it. You have to clean the brush using the special tool they give you but ours copes well with long hair - both human and dog Smile

thelegohooverer · 20/07/2021 09:14

I have a Roomba and it’s brilliant with hair. It has two rubber rollers that pop out and hairs end up on the ends of the rollers and just slide off with no cutting involved. It has a little sensor brush that sticks out and hairs can tangle on that and need a snip.

It’s the easiest vacuum cleaner I’ve ever had from the point of view of hair.

HildegardNightingale · 20/07/2021 15:38

Have a Eufy 30. He’s the best thing since sliced bread.

housecoat1968 · 20/07/2021 20:50

Eufy 15

Chasingsquirrels · 20/07/2021 20:52

I have an Eufy 30c max, but presume they are much of a muchness at that price point.

I also had a steam mop, and since getting the robovac have since purchased a robomop....

Chasingsquirrels · 20/07/2021 20:55

(too many sinces there).

Am seriously considering getting one of those round red brush cleaners to see if they work on the Eufy brush.

TinkerPony · 20/07/2021 21:02

Keep them coming the feedback but I come across a different D shaped robovac Neato and higher PA 4000

Eufy 30c. Fairly happy, he gets stuck sometimes or texts me that he wants his bum sensors cleaned. He doesn't have room mapping so goes around looking lost or crazed. He gets everywhere eventually but my top tip is DONT watch him or he'll drive you mad with the randomness of it.

DoylyCarte · 20/07/2021 21:10

Eufy 30c - seriously one of the best purchases EVER! Really good suction and does a great job.

I’ve also been eyeing up robomops and robowindow cleaners since the revelation… and then escalated to googling to see if flying drone robot hooverdusters had been invented yet as my excitement reached a frenzy of lining up future purchases (only prototypes exist so far and nothing mass market/for sale I could see sadly 😢)

Snugglepumpkin · 20/07/2021 21:21

I've got an Eufy 11s.
It's a really basic model & comes with a remote control if you want to drive him round like a toy car or you can just press the button & leave him to it.
I got that model because you don't need to use your smartphone to use it, it's slimline so it fits under my sofas & it was cheap.

It's been in use every day for over a year & still does a fantastic job.
I leave enough hair around to make a wig each week (or at least that is what it seems like)
Eufy picks it all up then I clean it off the brush with scissors & send him off again.

If he broke tomorrow I'd order him again.
I wouldn't even wait for a special offer.

TinkerPony · 20/07/2021 23:24

Seem Eufy the crowd pleaser.
I'm also looking to buy a mini handvac for car mainly and small jobs and seen there eufy version but mixed bag reviews feel the bad reviews are more honest iyswim.

@DoylyCarte I love your thinking!

5475878237NC · 21/07/2021 15:53

I love my Roomba.

StormingNotNorming · 21/07/2021 16:00

I love my Roomba too BUT iRobot do not value the UK market making it hard to get (some) spares etc.

Next time around I think I'll give the Eufy a go...

SCMocha · 21/07/2021 17:00

I didn't realise there were robot vacs with mop functions! (well that worked, anyway).

I have the D shaped Neato, pet version. I'm not sure it really gets into the corners as well as it claims. But it definitely picks up long hair well, and it is also very easy to take the brush out each time and clear the hair off it - everything just pops off and back in again, no problem. You can also easily get replacement brushes and side brushes etc when they do wear out, as well as a little comb to help clear the brush if needed. It has a filter as well that is easy to change.

Some of the Neatos have the side brushes, some don't. Some have no-go zones as part of the app, others don't. Some have the ability to store more than one floor plan, others don't. Some come with a different brush and possibly higher suction. But the brushes and filters are interchangeable anyway, so it's not really a problem. I think I went for the lowest model that came with the side brush and got mine in the Amazon black friday sale for half price. The pet version isn't really a different machine than the non pet version of the same model, but it comes with more of the brushes and cleaning comb replacements as standard.

I am hoping to get amtico flooring soon instead of my carpet ,and I hope that it will still work fine on that, without scratching it! In fact I hope that it will work better, as it seems to pick up huge amounts of carpet fluff still, but hard flooring won't have that problem.
