TMH We were going to try and go to North Yorks Moors Railway in September as we were on holiday in Scarborough. It looks so fab but transport would have made it an awfully long day for Ed so we'll wait til he's a bit older. Yeah, it would be great to meet up at some point.
He adores the NRM at York. Last time he went he kissed Mallard goodbye on both cheeks, bumpers and her coupling hook (awwh). This summer he stood on the footplate of her sister engine when she was in Leeds station, there were grown men looking highly jealous of him.
Rambling again...'scuse me
That's better
Been to IKEA this aft. We needed some new hand towels as the ones in the bathroom were past their dry by date. And the bath mats had just died over time. It was fantastic. Ed played in the playground then spent an hour in the supervised kids area. That was brilliant as I was able to wizz round and get what I needed without having to do the 'come back' 'put the down' 'please stop touching that' and 'no you can't have' routine. Got him a hotdog and a hot chocolate on the way out. Bus there and back, mega easy tbh.
Ed asked for a family tea tonight and DH says he'll make it so I am a touch redundant ATM. Hey ho
Hope all poorlies perk up soon xx
