BiancaCastafiore · 26/11/2007 17:17

Oh Yadda I'd love that necklace...all these extra hours I'll be working, I'll deserve a treat......

shanna hope your dd gets better soon, and that you managed a nap this afternoon x

Luda you always seem to have lots of energy! I never know how you do everything you do in a day

I managed to get downstairs looking OK again this afternoon, cleared a couple of hotspots and remembered to take the library books back.
Dh and I are hoping to nip to Toys R Us this eve for a quick shopping spree (or at least a look-see to get ideas for the dcs) Dd knows what she'd like but ds still hasn't settled on anything so I need some ideas for him. I hope my dad will babysit but he's a bit unreliable so we'll just have to wait and see if he rememebrs to turn up

FrostyGlassSlipper · 26/11/2007 17:23

highlight of my day!

BiancaCastafiore · 26/11/2007 17:24

We have this girl locally to us who makes some really lovely jewellery so I get the odd piece from her the website doesn't do it justice. I haven't had the pennies to spend on anything for a while though

TMH We were going to try and go to North Yorks Moors Railway in September as we were on holiday in Scarborough. It looks so fab but transport would have made it an awfully long day for Ed so we'll wait til he's a bit older. Yeah, it would be great to meet up at some point.

He adores the NRM at York. Last time he went he kissed Mallard goodbye on both cheeks, bumpers and her coupling hook (awwh). This summer he stood on the footplate of her sister engine when she was in Leeds station, there were grown men looking highly jealous of him.

Rambling again...'scuse me

That's better

Been to IKEA this aft. We needed some new hand towels as the ones in the bathroom were past their dry by date. And the bath mats had just died over time. It was fantastic. Ed played in the playground then spent an hour in the supervised kids area. That was brilliant as I was able to wizz round and get what I needed without having to do the 'come back' 'put the down' 'please stop touching that' and 'no you can't have' routine. Got him a hotdog and a hot chocolate on the way out. Bus there and back, mega easy tbh.

Ed asked for a family tea tonight and DH says he'll make it so I am a touch redundant ATM. Hey ho

Hope all poorlies perk up soon xx

BiancaCastafiore · 26/11/2007 17:28

lol FGS Well done!

I once couldn't find a tooth which had fallen out earlier in the day and was distraught by bedtime when I couldn't leave it under my pillow for the tooth fairy. My dad helped me ring the tooth fairy who explained it'd be OK and her magic would lead her to the tooth and she'd still leave some money for me. I was soooo pleased. It wasn't till I was much older that I discovered it was my mum on the upstairs phone being the fairy

ImdreamingofaGROUCHYxmas · 26/11/2007 17:43

Ah...toothfairy...

We've bought something for Ed following his extraction a few weeks ago. It hasn't arrived yet. He asked last week and I dreampt up a tale that she wasn't expecting it so she's got to catch up also that his tooth was taken out at the dentist in the next town so she got confused. DH told Ed she's a new fairy and she's a bit behind and her GPS needs an upgrade

If DH is right I reckon she took 2 CDs from HMRC by accident last month

can someone kick me in the bum... I have done sweet FA today.. I cooked fishpie and kept the children entertained but some reason I just can't be bothered,.. Quite unlike me! Have got girlfriends coming in for coffee tomorrow morning and was going to make first mince pies of the season but it looks like tomorrow morning is going to be spent flying round cleaning hope to get chance to throw together a victoria sponge as it is quicker than mincepies.
Help.. how to motivate myself again!

TheMadHouse · 26/11/2007 22:22

evening all

Well I have just out another load od vomit cover bedding in the wash. DS2 has been sick again - poor mite.

I have also just finnished a mammoth pile of ironing, which I will put away tomorrow.

So cuppa tea it is for me and then off to bed, in the hop that I can catch some shut eye before DS2 is sick again
