I don’t want my tumble dryer in the kitchen. Pros and cons of moving it to a small shed

The pro is that your kitchen may be tidy...con is you may get fed up trudging to the shed in the rain. Where is your washing machine?

We have ours in a small outbuilding and its been fine for over 7 years.

Electronics don't work as well on out buildings as they get too cold in winter.
It won't work as efficiently as in a heated space in winter.
Water/condensate sitting in the machine could freeze and damage it.
In summer it shouldn't be a problem

Why don’t you want it in the kitchen specifically? Maybe we could find another solution to the problem?

I always had my washing machine and tumble dryer in what used to be the coal shed. It worked really well as I hate laundry stuff in the kitchen.

The only drawback was when the tumble dryer stopped working because mice were nesting under it and they had chewed the fan belt!!
