EUFY robo vacuum

Just wondering if anyone has these and whether they are any good for carpets? Most people I know who have them have hard floors. I'm fed up of hoovering daily so I'm hoping a robo vac is the answer!

Mines a Lefant not an Eufy but it’s great on carpets, always amazes me how much it picks up.

Campervan69 · 15/07/2021 15:22

I love mine. Run him daily. Upstairs in the morning and downstairs in the afternoon. He picks up loads

MeanMrMustardSeed · 15/07/2021 15:22

Yes, it’s great on carpets too. I bought one on the back of a Mumsnet thread last September. I’ve never regretted it!

Crowsaregreat · 15/07/2021 15:25

I don't see the need to hoover daily, just be dirtier, life's too short!

I have a eufy. It's fine on carpet, you need to tidy for it and clear cables etc out the way. It doesn't like big bits of rubbish like scraps of paper etc. Also obv it doesn't do the stairs. If your carpet is quite fibrous/still shedding fluff then it sometimes dumps chunks of fluff here and there, like a vacuuming furball!

Just got an eufy and love it! Does great on carpet. Mine goes out in the evening when everyone's in bed.

BaklavaBalaclava · 15/07/2021 15:33

I have an eufy! He's great on carpets. We call him Frank.

The children haven't stopped laughing about the time they overheard me saying ' what's the matter darling? Did you get all caught up again?', so maybe naming him was a bad idea....

AlternativePerspective · 15/07/2021 15:35

Not that impressed with mine. But then I have dogs.

It doesn’t pick up any of the dog hair just leaves it in clumps on the carpet. I bought it to hoover daily but after a few weeks I just stopped using it because it makes little difference tbh.

RunningFromInsanity · 15/07/2021 15:45

I think they can be good but not for pet hair.
Plus I find I have to move the rug, the table etc so it doesn’t get stuck.

DoorMatCat · 15/07/2021 15:47

I like mine well enough. I do think it's less effective on carpets and rugs than hard surfaces.

I too am amazed by how much she (Betty) picks up. I really should run her more often but my standards are quite low!

Still occasionally get THE BIG hoover out as well. Purely depends on the amount of effort I'm putting into the cleaning spree.

Chasingsquirrels · 16/07/2021 21:42

Mine (Eufy) has no problem with dog hair (short - Great Dane and long - Cocker Spaniel) on either hard floors or carpets.

DigitalGhost · 16/07/2021 21:43

Love my Eufy we send it round every morning and it does a great job. Shocking how much dust my shark vacuum misses!

FluffMagnet · 16/07/2021 21:51

We now have one downstairs and one upstairs! Big fans.

GreenLeafTurnip · 16/07/2021 22:17

Might not be good for pet hair but mine is great for my hair! You do need to clean the roller regularly though because once it's clogged with long hair then it doesn't pick up half as much stuff. We have carpet and hard floors and it's pretty good on both!

sillyrubberduck · 17/07/2021 06:29

Which robot vacuum cleaner is good for dog hair ? Any recommend?
