Wee smell on carpet

Does anyone have any tips for removing wee smell from carpet?

It’s not a patch but DM says she can smell it in the general area of the living room carpet

I wash my living room carpet every 4-6 weeks with my Vax carpet cleaner and have also washed the sofa cushion covers within the last 4 weeks.

We potty trained DS 9 months ago and cleaned any messes straight away, and I obviously washed the carpet and sofa cushions etc at the time.

So I’m a bit perplexed how she can still smell anything. I’m really sensitive to smells and conscious to have a nice smelling house. I’m starting to get really upset as I feel like I’m doing everything to keep the house clean and smelling nice

Try baking soda. Sprinkle it on affected area, rub in with an old toothbrush. Leave overnight and Hoover in morning

Thanks @EspressoDoubleShot I’ll give that a go…good job I’ve got some bicarbonate of soda in bulk so I’ve got enough to do the whole thing

I just don’t understand how any wee smell can be there when I wash it every 4-6 weeks and I also have given it a good sniff and can’t find anything apart from the smell of the carpet wash solution
