Insect repellant that won't stain bedding

I wasn't sure where to post this one, but hopefully the wise MNers can help! Does anyone know of a insect repellant that doesn't stain bedding? All of my bedding seems to end up yellow because of it, but I'm currently getting eaten alive with all this muggy weather! I've got one of those plug in insect repellants from Boots, but to be honest it doesn't really seem to be doing much. TIA!

What about the Avon skinsosoft stuff? It’s oily though so might be swapping one problem for another.

Hi @ABitOfAShitShow, yes that was the one I tried last year. It’s amazing at keeping the critters away, not so good for the sheets!
