I'm taking the kids to church soon - don't feel like it today, AF started last night and is making me feel pretty rough but dh needs some peace to do office work and it's raining so Sunday school seems the best option this morning...we always see friends there we don't see elsewhere so it's usually good once we get going anyway...

I've cleaned the kitchen, emtpied and cleaned the fridge, sorted the kitchen compost bins and started to sort through all the bits of paper which seem to be coming home from school in piles at this time of year.
Need to do some laundry later and must do the ironing!

Well I am absolutely !!
Decided to clean the living room window, so it is all sparkling for the lights to up in it.
Wiped the window ledge...absolutely minging! soooo had not realised there were quite so many corpses!!! I do the windows fairly regularly..or so I thought!!!
Looked up and there were cobwebs galore so got the duster and a damp rag and de-dusted the curtain rail tops and rings and the ceiling above...then decided to wash the nets
(they haven't been washed in the whole 3 years we have been here! ...but in my defense to that, we had terrible trouble putting them up as half the wall fell away, so DH lost his rag and warned me NEVER TO TOUCH THE BLOODY THINGS AGAIN!!! and so I have never touched them!)
They were awful though, but I have managed to get them down quite easily...putting them up might not be so easy though
They were sooooo dusty, you could see the dust comming off as I took the wire out the top Oh the shame!!!!
And I call myself a flyer!!!
Anyway...window looking nice and clean now...just waiting for the nets to wash and dry

I must do my ironng too, it seems to bread sometimes.

DS1 is definatly on the mend, but hos nasty cough is making him wake and also still be sick. He wont take any medicine at the moment, as he is sick as soon as he gets in to a coughing fit. So not much sleep again in the mad house.

We are going to have a family cosy day today, might even go for a walk, as the raining has not stopped and the wind is lighter.

Bianca hope you have a good morning at church, and good luck with all the ironing...I did mine the other evening luckily...only a small pile to do so that can wait a bit!

Right off to do some more dusting while I wait for the nets

Downstairs loo all clean and smelling nice Gave it all a good scrub, and pulled the tumble dryer out and hoovered behind it. New rim block, and new tank block too. Emptied bin and put new liner in.

Nets still washing...but they look soooo white!!! I always thought they were cream!!

Morning everyone once more and thanks everyone for remembering me and good wishes.

Sunday sigh and house looking a little tidier. AM going to my sisters for Christmas this year so am being incredibly organised and have nearly finished buying everything and most is now also wrapped! Usually wrap on Chrsitmas Eve so this is amazing and almost feel as though Christmas is over now.

Have done washing up, one load of drying and another of washing this morning. Am off to recycle have a run and take eldest to ballet now.

Well done on getting your nets down and washed - sounds as though they needed it We don't have nets thankfully as we're not over-looked by anyone - open fields to the front and tall trees at the back We do have curtains at the front but we rarely close them - and have no other curtains/blinds downstairs at all!

Glitter wow at being so organised! I need to get all the pressies out and see what we've got. We're still not sure where we'll be fro Christmas this year - I'd like to stay at home but dh would like to go to my bros....

We made it to church and had an OK time. I stay in Sunday club with the kids and help with crafts so it was quite fun.

I'm still feeling pretty washed out from the bug I had earlier in the week so am a bit weepy and tired

Ds is in his room after dropping his trousers and revealing all in the street on the way home from chrch why are my children out to shame me at the moment?!

Dd is helping dh fill the pot holes in our lane with some old bits of brick

I ought to do some ironing but am sitting here on the pc instead

There have been some pretty horrid bugs around this year bianca hope you feel better soon.

Have to be organised, honestly I normally am really late with everything.

Have now also done the weekly shop and managed to plan meals. Wrapped more presents and cooked a roast dinner.

I have so far this weekend done NOTHING..
will have making up to do during my homeblessing tomorrow..

you are all so inspiring..

Will put a load in the washing machine before bed, and make sure kitchen is clean ready for breakfast.

Lots on the list for tomorrow, so hoping to get a good nights sleep.

I hioe that you have not had too stressful and busy days.

we were having a lovley cosy day, but DS2 (17 months) has been vomitting this afternoon.

It looks like you just get over one sick child and you get another. He was sick all over DH - he he he

Oh TMH hope your little one feels better tomorrow.. they do bounce up and down so quickly don't they!

My dh is watchign top gear too!!! I have some time too!

Luda Have been really bus tidying the room ready for tree etc.No nets here either. tempted to put one on front room window but no-one really looks in. I find they block out light.
Will put the up decs next weekend i think. Gives me all week to clean windows etc.
Also have HA doing a home visit to check property is ok! Must get it clean and tidy.
TMH Oh no. Hope he is better soon.
