GTech Airram or another vacuum cleaner?

Anyone want to recommend a GTech Airram? Are they worth the money?

I currently have a Suicidal Henry vacuum cleaner (so called because he's always tipping over) but he's too heavy and cumbersome for my old cottage as we have lots of little up and down stairways, from room to room, the rooms are small and turning is tight, doorways narrow and generally he's doing more damage than cleaning.

I've looked at The Shark but reviews didn't fill me with confidence, GTech looks good but expensive. I hate Dysons with a passion. Storage space isn't a problem.

I also have pets, one that sheds fur constantly and is a PITA, so...any recommendations please?

Hey op. I've had a gtech for about 3 years (handheld and upright). I don't like the upright; much too bulky, always crashing into things (maybe I'm a bit clumsy...) and doesn't pick everything up. I also had to replace both wheels on it after about 18 months. The handheld is great, but I'd recommend buying extra accessories to make it more versatile, eg they do thin bendy hoses and an upholstery head. Don't buy the special car accessories kit, it's too expensive. Buy the bits you need and it works out cheaper.

I'm looking at something like the shark or dyson to replace the upright once my renovations are done but not necessarily those makes.

HTH.

Gtech Airram is useless, we tried my mil's as she loved it. Useless with dogs hair and general bits.
We got a miele cat and drug and it is excellent,

We have a Shark and it’s great - it has liftaway function so you can carry the attachment and bin bit around with you to do stairs. It’s really powerful, the only downside is having to empty it quite regularly because it doesn’t store very much before it needs emptying.

Thanks for the recommendations and non-recommendations, much appreciated.

We have a shark lift away with a plug in cord and anti hair wrap. It’s really good! It was about £200 and there was an offer with free car attachments. The car attachments are great for cleaning radiators too. It doesn’t hold much but it’s very easy to empty so doesn’t matter.
