HELP smelly washed pillow

DD wet the bed and I had to wash the whole thing.

I was drying her pillow in a room, which started smelling wet/off (you know that smell.....). Window was a small crack open all the time but the weather was so horrible it made the room smell. Clothes are fine now but not the pillow....

I have since put it outside for 2 very warm sunny days but it's still smelling bad Sad

Shall I wash it again? Or do something different?

Thanks

Try washing it again and add some laundry cleanser to the wash.

Currently night training our ds so yep, I know that smell!

try a hot wash? Bio detergent?

....Think it might be the end of the road for the pillow? Sorry, op.

Yes, re-wash, preferably with bio detergent. Not by itself though, as the drum won't be able to spin. (Try washing with a towel or something else of a similar weight.) It needs to dry quickly or will smell damp again.

I had this problem with a padded bra. No matter how many washes and dried in hot weather outside in the sun it smelled musty.
I soaked it over night in water and zoflora and washed as normal the next day. Smell gone and not returned!
