Cat wee on mattress

My cat has wee'd on a bed at some point today and it has seeped through the duvet, the sheet and the mattress cover and onto the mattress itself.

Any ideas on how to clean it?

Can you wash your duvet in the machine.

The mattress I think you need to scrub as much as you can and dilute the cat wee.

They wee again though where they can smell it.

Can you soak the affected part of the mattress and leave it to dry?

You want an enzyme-based odour and stain remover spray (e.g. Simple Solution) for the wee on the mattress. The enzymes actually eat away at the molecules of urine left behind and remove the smell that could tempt the cat to mark again.

I feel for you, my cat did this a year ago.
I sacrificed one my towels and used it to soak up the damp, I then used a scrubbing brush and vanish pet expert carpet and upholstery cleaner as it was the only thing in the house, then covered it in bicarbonate of soda for as long as possible, hoovered that off and went back in with the vanish, the smell was gone thankfully!

How do you remove the stain though? My cat did this a couoke of years ago when we went on holiday. It never seemed to smell but the stain is awful.

I've followed @cheesesandwhich's advice as I luckily had some of the vanish pet stuff. Will get some bicarb tomorrow and do that as well. Great tips here. Thank you!

I used my vacuum wet n dry on the mattress with special enzyme cleaner.
Followed by spray.
Took about 5'washes. My boy cat has a HUGE bladder capacity- I thought my dd had wet the bed!
You can still see the edges of the stains.
