Apologies if this isn't the right section but I'm in need of some good advice!
We have just moved into a new house and need to buy a tumble dryer. The previous owners had a vented one, but the vent is in the side of the wall rather than the back. Aren't vents usually at the back?
Which is best to get? We had a heat pump one before and it took about 4 hours for each load so I'm looking for a tumble dryer than will
A) Dry clothes quickly - I'm not sure whether vented/heat pump/ condenser is best for this.
B) Fit in the space - I'm worried that if the vent is on the wall there'll be a huge vent pipe tangled behind the machine.
Sorry - I've not had to buy one before as our old house already had them all integrated! So any advice from an experienced tumble dryer purchaser would be very much appreciated!!
