Hello all
Have just got home from a rather horrific tantrum experience! All ready to walk back home after toddler group...DD2 finally strapped down in pushchair, got to the door and realised it was lashing down...put raincover on pushchair...DD2 screams at the top of her lungs and kicks the raincover repeatedly until it slides off! I sit DS on the top of the pushchair so he is sitting on the raincover and she can't kick it off....and redo the stupid velcro bits at the bottom....DD2 kicks me in the mouth in the process and continues to kick so I can't do the straps up. I shout and hold her legs with one arm and eventually manage to do them up...get outside and she is still kicking and screaming and manages to put her foot right through the bloody thing!
I ignore her all the way home, as it is absolutely thrapping it and I just want to get home as quick as possible and leave her to get wet....she then screams twice as loud (as if she wasn't screaming loud enough as it was!!!) because it is now raining on her.
To make matters even worse...she was wearing sandals! (that was a whole other tantrum first thing this morning
Do you think she might have learned her lesson!????
Doubtful... Oh don't you just LOVE 2 year olds!???
Ok sorry rant over... phew...
Hello to all anyway...
I also have a new washing theory...as spurred by Jen (so thankyou for that!)
Ok....
Usual routine is to get washing out of dryer..
Fold it all up, taking out bits that absolutely need ironing....
Put the pile of folded clothes on the stairs until I can be bothered to take it up...
Put said pile on my blanket box/bed...
Leave it there until there is so much it irritates me/we need more clothes!!!
Grit teeth and then do it all in one go!
I am now going to...
Fold into piles straight away..DS, DD1, DD2, DH and ME!
Take upstairs straight away to put away into the right drawers/wardrobes.
I'm going to start today! and see if I can keep on doing it, as I'm sure it will make things easier.
oops huge long post!
