Just saw a clothes moth...

Fly out of my wicker laundry basket. Have inspected the basket but can't see any larvae or eggs - should I throw it out anyway to be on the safe side? Never had to deal with clothes moths before. Will be inspecting my wardrobe later...

@lostindreams having been plagued by moths I would dispose of the basket yes. They were a bugger to deal with and had to have the exterminator our twice. The basket may not be the source of them if you have them though. Look around the edges of cupboards behind them under sofas and beds etc. Our infestation started in the lounge (wool carpet) and spread to all other rooms except the kitchen and bathroom.
We have been moth free for 18 months. (No sign of any anywhere) however there was 1 in our bedroom last night and now I'm paranoid they have returned. Like you I'll have to have a hunt tonight.
Good luck. I bought a spray from.amazon which I spray around the edges of thr carpets from time to time. Not really sure if its helped.
