Vanish Oxi Action Crystal White & line drying?

Does anyone know what will happen if I use Vanish Oxi Action Crystal White then line dry my clothes in the sun? Bought a tub to use as I have some sheets and school tops and socks that are looking grubby but on the back it says to dry away from direct heat and light after using (begging the question how the hell you are supposed to dry things) but I prefer to line dry during all this nice weather. I've never used it before - are my sheets going to fall apart if I rebel and line dry in the garden?!?

Wonder if it can cause yellowing if dried in direct sunlight

hmm ive just done the same with the Wilkinson own big tub only £2 and line dried and im very impressed and no damage done

The perils of doing your shopping online - if i had read the small print in a shop I wouldn't have bought it. I think I'll try it on something unimportant and see what happens...

I use vanish gold for whites, and have always hung my whites out in the sun, with no adverse effects. I have never read the instructions luckily, as my whites have never been so white (I’m aware I sound like an advert!)

loi never read the instructions and yes i often can be found staring at my whites on the line but ny washing method is not just bunging it in and leave,my friends think im mad but they envy my whites

Well I washed some greying sheets using the stuff and line dried in the sun today and all is good. Nothing fell apart, no yellowing and some random stains have gone. Result! Kids school tops and PE socks will be getting the same treatment tomorrow.
