awww TMH poor ds & poor you. Hope he is less sore soon. These things happen when we rush dont be hard on yourself. I've knocked dd's head several times off of door frames when rushing , or half asleep.

TMH Poor ds. My DD1 did that to DD2 in the front room door but i had to open the door to release her fingers.I remember how swollen they got!

Picked DD2 up on bike. Didn't managed to cycle all the way there though . Too many hills! Absolutly pouring with rain so got a bit wet.

Well both the boys are in bed and DH is going to come home early as DS1 said that a kiss from Daddy will make it all better - ahhhhhhhhhh

EHM poor you struggling with Ellie - we used to call dd "danger baby" when she went through a climbing phase, thankfully it didn't last long and she didn't do herself any damage. I think you're doing the right things already and will prob just have to ride out the phase, keep consistant with the rules and hope for the best

Ds has his friend here now and they're having a break and some telly time (ds is pretty tired) I hope they'll perk up again in a bit.

I made 2 Christmas presents morning and enjoyed myself so although I should be doing my ironing next I think I'll sit and make some more

aww ruby thanks for the offer, we are in St Albans. Its for my nephew who will be 2 beg feb 08. I know its a wee while off but as you say not easy to come buy. We have many episodes recorded on sky+. So far my sister has insisted that she must be Miss H, I can be Josie(very kind of her)my dh & her dp can be archie & pc plum. I would rather be Edie Mc myself but the lo's love Josie. We thought about buying the sweat shirts for the kids who attended as it will be a very small party. I'll keep you posted thanks for the link. We've already checked out the Balmory singalong

DTD2s socks which seem to accumulate on bottom of stairs (she takes them off as soon as she gets is)...

I hate this time of year. It is dark and cold and the day feels like it goes on forever.

Have had a terrible afternoon with my "sweet little thing" (to quote EHM) dd came home from school with a friends mother who told me that dd had used the f word 6 times during their journey home
Not sweet at all.
Dd and I had a long chat about bad words and I thought all was settled then when I refused her a third cake for pudding she called me a "f-ing bad mummy" and kicked dh where it hurts and so has been in her room ever since!

Feeling pretty low and inadequate as a parent this evening.

Off for a nice hot bath.
