Has anyone got a hoover capable of cleaning the mats in a car?

I thought I had a pretty good hoover, but it only massages the car mats.

What do they make them from as nothing picks up the dirt from them does it!?

I find the best thing to do with car mats is the old fashioned beating method (by this I mean I take them out and hit them against something like the garden wall) .

This dislodges all dirt that the hoover doesn't touch.

That’s exactly what I end up doing too! 😂 I’d love to get it valeted but the dc will just track more dried grass in the next day.
