New fridge freezer switched on without waiting

Hi ladies.
Asked other half to NOT switch on new fridge freezer when it gets delivered. So of course he did and I just realised 2hours later!!! I’ve turned it off.
Do you think it will be ok? I read about compressing oil and then it not working properly.
Pleeeease tell me it’s going to be ok?

Did it do its job while it was switched on? Let it sit for a bit then turn it back on. It'll probably be ok.

I've never waited and always been fine.

@gamerchick I just checked the fridge before turning it off and it’s cold. Haven’t looked at the freezer which is also meant to be frost free.
@TheVolturi I hope this is the case for us too

My DParents had one delivered last year , I asked about the settling time , they said it wasn't needed .
