Soooooooooo chuffed did all bedrooms yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keeping busy with Ellie's classes/groups we have Dinky Dancers at 930 this morning. Dr's at 1130. I've also started delivering& collecting Betterware which is taking up more time than expected. I've told them I do until Xmas & then decide if I will continue.
Ellie is being a rascal when in the housing climbing on everything & will not listen to me or dh

Morning Guys. Mission is good as my plan today is to tidy, clean & hoover my bedroom and both Dds bedrooms. That is plenty.

We are off to mums and toddlers this morning at 9.30, then I have my new health visitor and CBT this afternoon (CBT whilst the boys nap).

Will try to get the mission done, but it may need to wait until DH is home this evening, as if I leave the boys WW3 seems to break out at the moment.

Re pressies - I buy for 2 neices, 1 step newphew, 4 friends LO's, my mum, MIL and FIL and our children. We have an agreement with Bro and BIL that we only get the children now.

TMH we only buy for the kids now too. Expect for my bro & sil, dh's sis & bil we buy a gift from Ellie as they have no kids & they are very good to Ellie. Also buy for mum, dad, mil & fil. I've only a few pressies to buy now nearly finished thankfully.

Oh Luda The slow cook was a 1.8 litre one and it was fr4om ASDA.

I have one and use it a lot, always make stock after the roast chicken with it, just bung in chicken carcass and water. Stews, bolegnese, soups all sorts really

Morning Snow has all gone this morning

Dinky Dancers made me EHM have fun there this morning! As for Ellie not listening, that'll comtinue for many years so it's best to just accept it I'm afraid Dd told me off for shouting at her the other day and wouldn't accept my reasoning that I had asked her calmly to get dressed several times and so decided to shout as I assumed she counldn't hear me - they're very frustrating at times these little (and not so little) ones!
TMH I have (somewhere, I forget where it was put) a slow cooker we were given 2nd hand but have no idea how to go about using it ...any tips for when I dig it out?

I did this mission first thing this morning when I realised the window cleaners are due today (to clean inside and outside windows) and I was ashamed of the state of my bedroom I did a quick whizz round all bedrooms and they're all much improved. I do need to hoover them all but that can wait till later.

I need to tackle downstairs today and get a load a laundry done which seems to be in growing piles along our landing. And all the other usual routines.

Morning and lunchtime routine completed and CBT session done. new health visitor is coming in 15 mins and the boys are asleep - yah.

I just use my slow cooker like a big casarole pot. Ie brown my meat in pan and then pop all the ingredients in and leave to slowly cook.

ie poatoes, leeks in chicken stock, then leave to cook all day, wizz with hand blender and add crem fresh - Leek and pot soup - yummmmmmmmm

I make beef stew in my slow cooker

Cubed beef
Can of beer
Carrots
Onions
Tomatoes
Celery
Potato

Brown the beef and fry onions

Chuck the lot in cooker

Come back later and eat

Evening All

I have fed the boys are tidie3d up the carnage and also got them ready for bath, books and bed, which is DH's job. Clothes are all out and dishwasher is semi-loaded.

I am going to see my friend who broke her back tonight, as she is really down. I hope that I can cheer her up a bit. She cant do wimne duw to all the tablets, so I have bought her a toblerne limited edition as it is her fav choc.

The new HV was not too bad, she has a 3 year old boy, so she does have children unlike some.

Well I am intigued by the slow cookers...it sounds lovely. I fear I might be theonly one who would actually eat itthough...dh isn'tonefor soups or casserole's or "sloppy" dinners as heputs it. Might be worth it just for me and the kids though.....hmmmm

Hello to all. Woke myself up shouting in my sleep last night. Not a good night. Still working on potential au pair stuff. I'm re-using e-mails, though, so that cuts down on the work. Take off Dear x, put in new Dear y, take out the bit about her being experienced if she's not, etc. I do hope one of them does come to us. A German one is hoping to be offered a college place and if she gets it, she isn't free until the summer. Good for her if it works out, but back to the drawing board for us!

EHM I haven't asked my dsis for her ideas yet. I must do so!
