How to wash printed t shirts

How do you wash the t shirts with the plastic printing on, like band t shirts you buy at concerts? I've always just chucked them in with everything else on 30, and they last a year or two before the printing starts to come off. Is there any way to make them last longer?

Turn them inside out before washing

I do turn them inside out - sorry I forgot to say that. I wondered if other people use special powder or a delicate wash or handwash them or something else I haven't thought of.

It depends how they're printed, if they're a plastic image that's been heat transferred onto the fabric then it's always gonna crack eventually. Don't tumble dry them, just line drying tends to work for my more expensive printed stuff.

I don't have a tumble drier, but I do put clothes on the radiators if the heating's on, so maybe that's the problem. I'll try just line drying them. Ds has a couple of new ones I don't want to wreck.
