Washing powder/liquid + conditioner nice smell combinations

I bought a top from a charity shop which seemed to have been freshly washed. The smell was lovely - like a really nice soap .

Ive gone round the laundry aisle in Asda in search of a similar smell and everything smells so chemically I wouldnt use any of them. At the moment I use Persil which leaves little smell and no conditioner because I hate the smells of those Ive used before - Lenor and Comfort mainly.

Has anyone any idea what powder/liquid/capsule leaves a nice smell behind?

I've been using Smol pods and fabric conditioner for about 18 months now and wouldn't switch back.

I have really sensitive skin and scents give me headaches but I'm fine with these, they leave a delicate fresh scent but not a chemical flower/fruit/perfume type - just clean is the only way I can describe it I suppose.

It's a subscription service but I've managed to amend/cancel things no bother via a quick email so customer service is good too.

I don't work for them, I promise BlushGrin

I like smol and also ecover it's a light fresh, slightly floral fragrance

I use smol too and regularly get asked what laundry products I've used. Just the smol capsule, no need for anything else. If anyone would like to try it for free you can use my code

Is that your real name in your referral link @louisethedisease?

It's also worth noting (for transparency) that you can trial for free (£1 p&p) without the referral link, it's the referer that benefits with 50% off their next order 😉

Try surf in the pale blue bottle - it's the herbal extracts one. Really lovely smell. I particularly like it on bedding and towels as it lingers in a good way!

Not to be confused with another pale blue surf variety called coconut bliss (I've not tried - may also be nice!)

Try lidl for nice fragrances - the lavender powder or pink powder

I use Fairy capsules and the white comfort. It's a nice plain soapy smell without being overly strong.

I'm a cleaner and my clients washing always smells amazing. She uses fairy gel and comfort pure. The combination smells so fresh. I've now switched to this. My washing smells amazing. I try to air dry as much as possible too as the dryer kills the lovely smell.
