I love organising!
Looking for further tips from fellow organisers 😁

Me too! Buy and then wrap presents immediately. Post cards early to avoid last minute stressing. Bulk buy stamps.

Just us then op?!!

Place marking for some tips!

Mine would be .., you know those little silica gel sachets your get in some shoe boxes or electric items - or in the LFTs the kids are bringing home -? Never throw them away. Instead put in a dry and airtight container big enough for a phone so that on the fateful day your phone goes for a swim in the loo or one clumsily knocks their glass of cremant over their phone, you can wack it in the box to dry for 48 hours. Those clever little sachets will pull the water out.

Like the rice trick but no danger of rice getting stuck in the phone.

Actually I suppose mines a general "hack" rather than organisation.

Plastic storage baskets / boxes for cupboards. Especially under stairs and kitchen.

Remember: boxes, boxes and more boxes!

I've got a good hack too that my hairdresser told me about.
I know it's not organising but.... If you get oil based paint on clothing or upholstery when it's dry spray with hairspray and rub gently with a dry cloth.
Do this again until it's just a mark then wash.
Absolutely brilliant, had gloss on a nice navy rain mac and tried this. I was amazed!

we have 'command centre' on the inside of our kitchen cupboard doors which helps keep us organised.

On the inside of one door we have a slimline calendar and a stick on pen holder. We also have a mini whiteboard. On the top half we jot down anything that we have used up that needs to be added to the next shopping list. At the bottom is our meal plan for the week.

Inside the cupboard opposite I have created a mini pin board by sticking up cork coasters. We use it to keep things like tickets safe

If I need DH to do, remember or find anything it goes on the command centre! It saves no end of "you didn't tell me" conversations and helps keep the kitchen look streamlined

The best one I picked up from here is folding the duvet cover, sheets etc and putting them in the pillowcase so when it comes to change your bed sheets everything is there - it's bloody genius!

Firstly declutter. You don't need to organise stuff that isn't useful or needed.
Keep 'like' stuff together - so all placemats, napkins, coasters in the same drawer for example.
Keep stuff where it's needed - and use the most convenient space for stuff you use often.
Use boxes, baskets, containers to keep stuff together including within drawers. So in your junk drawer divide it up by using small containers.
Keep on top of stuff daily - I have a notepad in the kitchen that's a weekly planner and every Sunday I write out the housework jobs for the following week, split across each day.
Use lists or a planner, or an app, to keep track of important dates and things you need to do before a specific deadline. Check it daily.

Most important is to use a system that works for you - you can take hints and tips from other people but unless it works for you it's no good.
And don't discount tips that you think are so small they won't make a difference- often the smallest tweaks will have an amazing impact!
Oh and you don't need to buy expensive boxes - I'm using the plastic boxes that berries come in within my junk drawer and they are brilliant!

To stop glitter coming off cards, spray with hair spray.
