I use a cloth that we got with our LCD (or is it plasma? I can never remember) TV -just dampen it slightly and wipe.

I'm not sure what you're supposed to use though?

wouldn't an e-cloth do the trick? I would imagine thats what Betty got with her tv.

Give it a wipe with a 100% cotton dry cloth if you can find one. That should take most marks off.

DON'T use tap water on it - even to dampen the cloth - as ordinary water can damage the screen.

I did a google search and found that you can make a 50/50 mix of alcohol and distilled water and use that if the cloth doesn't remove everything.

Oh too late as per usual!

jooseyfruit · 15/11/2007 15:04

Aww thanks Gibberish, you googled it!
Screen will be messed up by greasy fingered dc's by tonight anyway, so will try your methods!!

You're welcome

I use baby wipes. I'm sure Macintosh don't recommend you clean their shiny laptops with Johnson's, but hey...it's worked for the last 2 yrs with no harm done!
