a whasing thread baout a viscose wool mix jumper

i had
i put it on delicates thinkign viscose wool thats ok( althoguh said handwash)
a dn it shrunk
luckily the shop took it back sayign machine washign was ok for hers( of the same jumper)

the only thing that was different was that i left it in there overnight once it had spun
how come it shrunk

does your wash machine rinse in cold water? moving wool from hot to cold water can shrink it.

i wonder if it was i left it in (spun) overnight
