Yellow marks on white clothes outside??

Just got home from a weekend working away and putting laundry away I hung out when I left.

I hung it all out on the line on the Friday and i don't know when my husband realised he needed to bring it in (judging by the state of the house, 2 mins before I got home).

Anyway, I've noticed they all have these yellow marks on them... not on them when I hung them out. Does anyone have any idea what's caused this and if/how I can get them out? They're all over my daughter's light clothes 😣

Pollen?

FindMeInTheSunshine · 09/05/2021 14:25

Do you have many trees around? Looks like it could possibly be pollen marks.

Had it rained?

TheQueef · 09/05/2021 14:27

Looks like Lily pollen marks. (No lillies yet though)

Pollen, just wash them again and maybe reconsider where your washing line is placed!

Ah thank you!
I wonder if it could be rust stains from the pegs? It hammered it down yesterday and was left out in the rain- we have wooden pegs, so maybe that?
I've covered them in eCover and hoping for the best.
