a momentary lapse of concentration on my dh's part and ds opened and tipped out the best part of a bottle of nail varnish onto the carpet. We have accidental damage cover on our insurance but they are sending a carpet cleaning company out to assess it - surely it can't be cleaned????
Does anyone have a similar experience and know if I'm likely to get a new carpet - or put up with my old one with a pink stain?
