Induction hobs beeps??

Hi, I have a neff induction hob. Im just about to get a new kitchen and unsure if I want another induction hob. The one I currently have beeps like mad all the time (well not all) but if I were to put a tea towel on the hob it will beep, or paper or anything. I was just wondering if all induction hobs do the beeping?

Thanks Abby

Mine is a CDA. It beeps just once on each button press. It sometimes does one beep and switches off if it gets very wet, like when I clean it or a pan boils over. Its a fairly quiet single beep though.

No one is allowed to put anything other than a pan on my induction hob just because it was bloody expensive as it combines zones to give a larger cooking area.

The beeping is because you are putting stuff on it that you shouldn't Grin

The overwhelming consensus on MN is that induction hobs are amazing. You just need one that either doesn't beep when it detects something or one where you can turn that feature off.
