Laura Ashley woven rug made from wool and cotton. It says 'dry clean only' so I could take it to a launderette but it's large, 3x2 metres. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Does it need cleaning or a good Hoover. Have you got access to a carpet cleaning machine that washes wool carpet.

Bought it second hand and it's in good condition but a few light marks. I don't have access to a carpet cleaning machine.

Can you gently rub it with woollen washing detergent in a place where it wont notice and see if that works. I got that tip of Google
