Kondoing my photos

I've finally started to tackle my photos. Im good at getting rid - my question is what would you advise doing with the keepers? I wondered if scanning them and making a photobook would be a good option, or if I should just chuck em back in one of the albums. Problem with albums is that they take up more space. What do you think? Any words of wisdom? TIA.

In an ideal world, I would have beautiful photo books done, but I still have a chest of old albums with half the photos falling out, and the rest in boxes. Not to mention the hundreds on our phones!! I'd therefore go for books!

It depends on your time and dedication. Be honest with yourselves, will you actually scan the photos and then take time to arrange them into photo books? You could get a company to scan your photos I guess.

Some of my digital photos are in photo books but mostly they are on my phone! My old fashioned photos are in a labelled box and the very old black and white ones are in an album. For me, photos are like books, digital ones just aren't the same.

Ive been looking at scanning apps and they certainly look much quicker than using a scanner. I do like having a project and I did manage to do my India trip about 12 years after I went, so not impossible. Ive also enjoyed looking at it since.

I must admit I really hit a wall. I did schooldays and uni without much faff. Then I found gap year and summercamp and thought that was too much for one evening. I think I'll have another go this weekend as its a long weekend where I am.
