Cleaning the washing machine?

What’s the best way? What products do you use? I want to know how to clean everything the drum, the glass door, the rubber rim, the drawer - all over it.

I’ve only ever bought the washing machine cleaners before, but they literally only do the drum.

I know I can google how to clean it etc but sometimes it’s nice to hear people’s opinions & little tips they may have. Thanks

I just soak my draw in the washing up bowl with hot water and fairy liquid and give it a scrub with my tepe brush I use for cleaning.

The rubber trim I wipe with a damp cloth and use glass cleaner for the door.

For the filter at the bottom I use an old baking tray and place it underneath the filter before I open it. If you don't clean the filter regularly you might need to use a towel folded a few times as a lot of water will probably come out.

Oops. Give the filter a scrub and rinse and again use the cloth to wipe inside. Do this last, sometimes it can be a bit smelly!

I put the drawer through the dishwasher (do a load with washing up brush and bowl, washing machine drawer and handsoap dish), use a dishmatic brush sponge thing to get into the bit the drawer goes into with vinegar in it, then rinse, give the rubber seals a wipe with Dettol or similar clean the glass and stainless steel with glass cleaner and kitchen roll. Gets covered in toddler finger prints five seconds later.
