What the hell is my Bosch dishwasher doing now?

It’s only a few years old and it’s doing a new one on me now... the ‘check water’ light is flashing. In the manual it says that when it flashes it’s ‘probably’ a technical fault. That made sense because it happened after a short power cut yesterday so I assumed the programming had got messed up. But I’ve reset it and tried running it through on 2 different programmes. It seems to run ok but then at the end of the programme the light flashes again and the dishes in the bottom stack aren’t clean. The dishwasher tablet has released ok and I can hear water swishing around while the programme is running so I haven’t a clue what it’s playing at. Can anyone help?

Can you run a maintenance wash?
Check the filter is clean?
Is salt and rinse aid topped up?

Have you cleaned all the filters and the trap and tried running a short hot wash?

Filters are all clean. Going to check the spray arms.

@Harpydragon yes I did a quick wash and had the same issue.

Ooh I might be able to throw some light (but not much help )

Our Bosch did something silimar where the 'float' got stuck (bit like in your toilet cistern when it reaches a level it stops filling) . But in the DW it gets wedged so your DW thinks it has enough water on board .

To fix it the advice was to "tip" the DW but mine was a F/I so couldn't do this .

Have a read up on tipping the DW , it might be that .
