Sorry lots of vacuum threads recently...

Could anyone give me opinions please on sebo felix or x7 pet.
I’m completely undecided. We have a mix of carpets and hard floors.

Thank you!

I have the Sebo X7 Automatic Pet. It performs well on the wooden floors and brings the carpets up beautifully. However I have a really thick piled rug and really struggle to push it on this.
It seems sturdy and well made but is also really heavy and pretty unstable when using the hose, it's easily pulled over. Not sure I would purchase it again.

Ah ok thanks so much for your reply! I have been wondering if it will be too heavy for me!

We have sebo felix, really impressed with it after our Dyson died. It cleans carpets really thoroughly and the brush bar can be lifted out of the way for hard floors, although we have the hard floor head too.

I do have to admit it's a bit wobbly when using the hose, but I now remove the floor head, or lie it on the floor and carry with the handle, like a cylinder vacuum. It's just getting used to different way of using it.

Big plus is that the sebo uses all our Dyson tools with an adapter too. Really pleased with how clean floors are. The suction is variable too, for when cleaning rugs etc.

Ah lovely thanks!
Can you store the sebo attachments on the hoover or do they need to be stored separately?

You can store the two tools it comes with on the vacuum using an attachment it comes with.. but I didn't spot it before attaching the handle! I could easily put it on, but to be honest I couldn't be bothered! I just put the two attachments in a bag I hang up in the cupboard with all the Dyson tools in.

I’m on my second Sebo. I bought the X4 Pet approx 10 years ago & it still works but is old & tired. I’ve just bought the X7 pastel twist & it’s much lighter & performance is the same. When I looked into it, I think the only difference is that the pet version has a different filter, the motor & everything else is still the same. A bonus is all the tools from my old X4 fit the new X7.

@Offredismysister Do you find the x7 heavy? Is it easy to manoeuvre?

It’s definitely a few kg lighter than my old X4 & manoeuvres much easier, mainly due to the fact the X7 model has a light on & goes right under furniture. I can carry it upstairs no bother & I used to struggle with the X4. I’ve had a Henry & I find it much easier than that.

Great thanks! I think I need to get to a shop and have a look!
I’m definitely getting a sebo, they sound like they last for years!
