Vacuums following on from Henry... Miele/Sebo

I think I probably need two... (it's a large house - not showing off just factual).
One for upstairs (carpets), one for downstairs (tiles/wood floors).

I've just posted this on another thread asking about the Sebo.

I have the Sebo X7 Automatic Pet. It performs well on the wooden floors and brings the carpets up beautifully. However I have a really thick piled rug and really struggle to push it on this.
It seems sturdy and well made but is also really heavy and pretty unstable when using the hose, it's easily pulled over. Not sure I would purchase it again.
