Boring floor cleaning question

The vinyl in our kitchen gets mopped regularly but it looks like it needs a good scrub. Problem is, my knees are knackered and if I get down there I will never get up again.

I use a spray mop at the moment. Is there anything that will give a better scrub without crippling me?

Bleach! Hot water and bleach.

Do you have a DH? (Any kind of adult partner/teenager?)

I find they're quite useful for a specific job that needs doing. Quite task orientated even if not generally domestically proactive.

Or a Steam Mop. FAR FAR cheaper to run & doesn't require regular feeding or excessive praise & treats.

Karcher floor washer, bit pricey but brilliant. I used mine yesterday to clean the Amtico flooring after the builders left for the week.

I also have a robot vacuum & floor washer that works brilliantly for day to cleaning, but the Katchwr is my deep cleaning mop of choice!

These slightly abrasive microfibre pads from Koh. They Velcro onto any emop head and do a great job. I then buff my granite tiles to a shine with any soft microfibre emop head.

An ordinary mop and bucket but with very hot water and good cleaner, I would think would do better than a spray mop.

I have vinyl in my kitchen and I use a steam cleaner. A bit of method or astonish floor cleaner splashed down gives a lovely shine.

But I do think that cheaper vinyl can age badly and look a bit grubby as it wears.

An emop and hot water will actually clean the floor. I've always thought spray mops could only really push the dirt around.
