I have one food cupboard in my small kitchen and it's a pita to get anything out of it. How can I make things more accessible to me without needing a torch and cartoon abilities? I've posted a photo of the offending cupboard . It's not normally that messy-I'm in the process of clearing and cleaning it.

You could buy lazy Susan type storage where you can see all of the items you have by turning the wheel or use some type of storage basket with most used things in one and then lesser used in another and so. With baskets you can take the whole thing out and get easy access to what you want.

Four storage boxes on wheels. Then you can remove the front couple of boxes and slide along the ones from the corner to access the things in them.

Those twirly things are useless. Anything dropping off is almost impossible to reach. Removable baskets is the way to go, I think.

I have a lazy Susan with 2 levels, use it for all my appliances that I hate having out on the worktops

We had similar to this and loved it (corner carousel unit)

Baskets.

One for dried goods, one for condiments/oils and whatever other categories would make sense for you to have in there.

That's like the one I had such trouble with. I think mine just didn't fit the cupboard properly.

Stick on sensor led light strip in the far sides (upper and lower) will help with visibility.

What's in other cupboards? Can you swap them round?

Get a oil/vinegar bottle set for next to the hob then you can push extra oils etc to the back corner.

Small plastic tubs that can be pulled out (one for herbs, one for flours etc, one for veggies)
