Hi. I'm thinking of buying a Miele washing machine. Has anyone got one, they're expensive, so I was wondering if they're worth the extra cost?

Thanks

I have one that's nearly ten years old. It came with a ten year guarantee and we've had someone out twice in a decade to replace parts. It's been heavily used (nappies/kids/dogs). They replaced a whole new circuit board last time which would have cost a fair packet.

When it next goes wrong we will replace it with a similar model with another ten year guarantee.

Ours is 14 years old! If it goes faulty my we will get it repaired, it's been fab!

All of our home appliances are Miele, nothing quite like it! We love the brand. Totally worth the price difference

We had one that was over twenty years old when we got it - lasted another seven years. Replaced with an AEG that is now sixteen years old. I wouldn't buy a super expensive microwave that I only use a couple of times a week, but would for a washing machine. It's not just the likelihood of it lasting longer, although that's important, it's also the fact that they're so reliable.

We have one and absolutely love it. It's really quiet and it has a 10 year warranty.

They are brilliant, I love mine. If you go online they have an outlet, they do sell out fast so you’re best choosing at least two machines and phoning as soon as they open, they update the list of available machines daily.

Thank you everyone, looks like it's worth getting a Miele, I'll start looking now Smile
