Im on a Cleaning Mission! Anyone care to join me?

Dp has taken dd's out for the day so I can clean clean clean! I'm setting myself the target of getting the whole house done from top to bottom by 3pm.

I'd like to say I will then crack on with either filing paperwork/ doing my accounts or writing a page for my website but I probably won't because i'd like a rest and i'll have to start sunday dinner in time for when they all come home!

Anyone else got lots to do?

OK - there's no WAY I can get the whole house done - especially as I have all 3 DS's here and DH not home yet......BUT I'll join in doing as much as I can

I will maybe do a little bit - but really not feeling up to it. Maybe I can just tell DH what needs doing and get him to do it!

yup....lots of laundry to sort and, thanks to an over zealous DH who loaded the drier too full then set in on the "cook to a crisp" setting, quite a bit of ironing to do

Also bedding to change and wash and hoovering to do.

So much for a day of rest

I am hoping to make a good effort but the kids are still here. The youngest will go to bed soon and I may let the older too watch a DVD to give me some sace. As trhey aren't too well sitting still and resting will do them good.

Ok, i'm going to tie up my hair and put some music on really loud!

Just stopped for a really quick cuppa tea! Don't think i'm going to make the dead line anyway so may as well have a quick break! Have done loads so far, downstairs is almost done, all washing nearly done, i've even wiped down all kitchen cupboards, cleaned oven and grill trays etc and cleaned the leather sofa! Basically doing all the jobs that hardly ever get done first then will get round to normal cleaning! I'm now aiming for 3.30 finish then i'll have a long soak in the bath!

diasy ask you dp to do the ironing whilst watching top gear, that's what my dp does and he loves it, means he can do all his work stuff in one go and not have to worry about it for the rest of the week! I just do mine and the girls as and when needed!

Ive been a lazy moo today I will muck in for the last half hour

I'm on the last 10 mins, just gor floors to mop which doesnt take long, ill do it while my nice hot bath runs!

I have cleaned everything even the light switches and bins and wooden bits on stairs and window sills - everything is clean clean! I'm so chuffed!!!!! Love it when its all done! (need to try not to make too much mess while cooking sunday dinner..........)

Cleaning done - none.
Have made danish pastry pizzas, chocolate peanut butter squares and all the prep for a roast dinner though as well as 5 wash loads.
