Curtain hook problem

Hi
I wonder if anyone else has this problem

I have a plastic curtain rail in the lounge

The curtains attach to the rail with these

tinyurl.com/2xz7748t

The flat gets very hot and I think the plastic rail might have expanded. Some of the hooks are broken and I can't get the hooks over the plastic rail now

Is there a bigger size or a different type of hook that does the same job? The rail is screwed into the ceiling - the windows are crazy so had to be done that way - and I can't take it out.

I would really like to avoid any expense. If anyone has any practical suggestions, I'd be grateful.

Thank you.

The hooks should slide off the end

@BluebellsGreenbells

The hooks should slide off the end
It's fixed to the ceiling and both sides of the wall at either end.

I spent a few hours dealing with the same problem about a year ago; there is a knack to getting the hooks off the rail - I think you unhook them from the bottom and lift off the track. I vowed never to take the curtains down ever again... Good luck!

There’s an end hook that’s screwed on - that’s how they were put on.

Can you take an actual photo of the end piece

I had a feeling this post would confuse people!

The curtains have been taken down and washed many times. I think what's happened is years of sun has warped the rail a bit. I never had issues clipping and unclipping from the rail before.

The only cheap solution I can think of is bigger hooks but that seems to be a standard size.
