How to paint behind a radiator

So we have a decorator in and he's just called to say the radiator is reallt close to the wall so can't paint behind it! He said he may be able to take it off but it's 2 man job ( his FIL is coming later in the week to wallpaper so could do it then) does anyone have any ideas on how to get around taking the whole thing off please?

You get small radiator rollers but depends how big a gap there is. Our radiators sit on brackets so we can lift them off to paint behind them.

Or you could leave that bit unpainted if nobody will see it

If it's so close to the wall that a radiator roller can't get behind it then would anyone notice if it wasn't painted?

Otherwise you might just have to take off the radiator....
