King or Superking?

Hello, we are looking to buy a new bed. I'm happy staying with a kingsize but my partner wants to get a superking. We are currently renting a house but will be buying next year and think it makes more sense to wait until we know the dimensions of the bedroom and whether a superking would be viable. Have any of you moved from a king to superking and would you recommend or stick with a kingsize? Thanks xx

We moved this year and got a superking for our new house. It's amazing. Funnily enough out two year old has not slept in it once where when we had a king he would end up in it most nights 😄

We also splurged on a Tempur mattress, it has changed the quality of our sleep. Mainly if one of us gets up the other one isn't disturbed.

We moved onto single duvets each and DH changes the bedding👌

Superking.
It really isn't a problem getting Suoerking bedlinen.
We have separate duvets now but didn't in the past.

I've bought loads of lovely SK bedding from these guys.

Whatever you get buy the next size up duvet, you'll not regret it any you'll never have a cold arse hanging out of the bed again GrinGrinWinkWink

I have an emperor size ! A total nugget to buy bedding for but absolutely delightful when the kids climb into bed as everyone has space

We've got super king with separate duvets and single mattresses that are the same height so no problem getting bedding. The only problem is that we were in a hurry as we moved and scrapped the old (also SK) one and the single mattresses aren't quite long enough. It doesn't matter when you're lying in bed but it makes the bed look shorter and I have to be really careful not to trip on the end leg, it's an optical illusion! We should have got one with an end board/frame. I might do something about it one day

Get a superking, pretty much like everyone else. Duvets were hard to change until I learnt to do it the burrito way! Much less exhausting.

Superking is lovely but matress can be very heavy try to find one that does need to be flipped only turned from head to foot. I would struggle to go back to sleeping with less room now

I have a Super King, best thing we did was change from an old IKEA king to this one... it's an ottoman and has storage underneath Grin
My DSs are 6&5 - plenty of room for all of us at the weekends.
It is huge, we had a massive headboard too but it's amazing and by far one of our best purchases.
